Sudhanshu Shekhar Singh
Founder and CEO
With over 36 years of experience in development, humanitarian response, disaster risk reduction, and advocacy across the Asia-Pacific, including India, Nepal, and Afghanistan Mr Singh cemented his roots in New Delhi, India as the founder and CEO of Humanitarian Aid International. Formerly based in Geneva, engaged in global processes like Core Humanitarian Standards, he managed complex emergencies, developed country strategies, and led disaster responses globally. Skilled in fundraising, donor relations, and collaborating with governments, with a focus on rights-based approaches in program management, Mr Singh is a disruptive advocate for localisation and equitable development.

A seasoned veteran and a JNU graduate with a consulting background. He brings vast experience as a development professional, offering expertise in international trade, climate change, sustainable development, nonprofits and CSR.
Tarini Ross
Senior Programme Manager
A global humanitarian advocate with a strong legal background. She has managed and coordinated HAI’s programmes since 2018. Her efforts in refugee welfare, Covid-19 relief, SCLR and disaster response have cemented HAI’s credibility.
Atma Prakash
Finance Manager
With over two decades of experience in the finance sector, he manages HAI’s Financial and compliance requirements. A true humanitarian, he supported HAI voluntarily in its formative years, helping the organisation grow into the sectoral leader it is today.
Nahith Beegam
Programme Officer
Trained Humanitarian professional with two years’ experience in disaster response, resilience, and localisation, prioritising accountability and community-led approaches while leveraging technology for effective interventions across India.
Tamanna Yadav
Programme Officer
A skilled team coordinator, researcher and programme implementer. Her educational and professional background with national and international NGOs in the development sector are invaluable assets to our sector.
Nishant Joshi
Communications and Sponsorship Officer
A multi-disciplinary humanitarian with international experience in conflict & peacekeeping, emergency response, and research & development. He has a proven track record of exemplary outreach and coordination skills.
Ashwani Singh
Field Officer- Refugee Programme
A trained social worker with experience in field operations, camp management, coordination and community development. He is also adept in procurement, documentation and allocation of resources for seamless implementation.
Katyayni Champawat
Fundraising Officer
Adept at leveraging digital platforms for donor visibility and humanitarian advocacy, Katyayni serves as the fundraising officer at HAI. She leads donor engagement and strategic partnerships to support HAI’s mission.
Suresh Bhatt
Finance Officer
Bringing expertise in strategic financial oversight, governance, and risk auditing, he ensures regulatory compliance, optimizes vendor relationships, and enhances operational efficiency. He has years of corporate and NGO experience making him an all-around financial expert.
Pradeep Pal
Accounts and Admin Assistant
A skilled professional in accounting, financial management, and office administration, he assists in maintaining accurate financial records, handling administrative tasks, and ensuring financial compliance with relevant regulations. His attention to detail are incomparable.
Ritika Kashyap
HR and Compliance Officer
As the HR & Compliance officer, she builds on her diverse background in HR, Bold Finance, Strategic Partnerships, website development and adherence to policies, supporting HAI in maintaining professional standards.
Priti Kumari
Teacher
| With a BA. B.ed in psychology and 10 years of experience in teaching, she supports SBC education centre, providing remedial classes. She is also a go-to person for the camp children for counselling and support. |
Madhu Thapa
Teacher
| With about 20 years of experience in teaching, she provides remedial classes at the SBC education centre. Additionally, she coordinates community engagement activities and supports school enrolment processes for our camp’s refugee children. |
Meena Rawat
Teacher
| Certified by Jiwisha Society, she is the sewing trainer supporting the skill development centre at HAI’s Signature Bridge Refugee Camp. Additionally, she coordinates camp activities, convenes community meetings and addresses inmates’ concerns. |
Vishal Verma
Office attendant
He is experienced in handling supplementary requirements to run an office. An expert in janitorial duties, kitchen management, and inventory procurement, his contributions ensure that all operations run smoothly

Mr Kishanan has an MBA with business leadership in the global not-for-profit and sustainable development sector with over 25 years of progressive experience. He serves as our board member.
He has led many organisations such as a ‘Director– Grameen Foundation Country, Managing Director- Digital Green, and Chief Operating Officer- Population Foundation of India.’
Mr Sudhir Kumar

| Mr Sudhir Kumar (B.E Mechanical) is a business partner of Kumar Steel Inc. He has been HAI’s board member /Treasurer since 10/10/2020. He is also one of the directors of Kundli Stainless Steel Cluster Services Pvt Ltd. He is also an advisor of the Social Umbrella Foundation and I Bat think tank. He is one of our COVID warriors who served 144,000 people through food distribution during the lockdown through 3 kitchens. |

Ms Meenakshi Batra

Mrs Meenakshi Batra, currently serving as the HAI Board member, is an international development professional with three decades of diverse global experience. She has a Post-Graduation in Child Development and Family Welfare. She has served in various leadership roles with International Development and humanitarian agencies like DFID (UK Aid) and KRIBHCO across the globe.

Mr Ashok Kumar Seth is an Rtd Director of Finance and Assurance & General Counsel with many specialisations few to name- an MBA Specialised in Financial Management and an LL.B (Professional Law Degree) from Law Centre II, Delhi University. He is one of our board members.
He has headed finances in many organisations such as Save the Children UK –India Office, Regional Accountant for Asia on Secondment – Stationed in London office
Ms Nandani Bahri Dhanda

| Mrs Nandini Bahri Dhanda comes with a wide experience in design and architecture. She holds a Bachelor Of Arts: French, History And Politics from JNU – School Of Languages. She has 35+ years of experience in prestigious architectural projects, Design Planning, Material Requirements and Determination, Vendor Subcontracting, Contractor Oversight, Material Cost Estimates, Construction Work and Inspection of project sites. With time she has also developed strong relationships with local artisans and craftsmen across India. |
